Shibaozhai Pagoda, China

The Shibaozhai Pagoda, or Precious Stone Fortress, or Stone Treasure Fortress, dates from the Ming dynasty and consists of a gate, 12 story pagoda (the top three floors only added in 1956) and temple complex at the top of the hill. It is both a temple and fortress complex.

The hill on which the pagoda and temple complex is built is 50m high,
